we cook

Men and women from Cornwall are travelling out to Calais, Dunkirk, Greece and Macedonia to chop carrots, peel potatoes, season curry and boil rice by the vat, using the incredible donations from local businesses to Spitalfields markets to create hot and nourishing meals for people who are living, essentially, in a rubbish dump. There are some fantastic organisations you can sign up with: click on the image below to find out more about this brilliant outfit. If you want to know more about what our Calais and Dunkirk teams have done, drop us a line here and we can put you in contact with someone to chat you through what their experience was. At the moment the kitchens *really* need help, even for just a few days. If you can, do.
